A seat is a person on the roster, not a login. The owner account is free. A manager who builds rosters but doesn't work shifts is free. Deputy and Tanda charge for every user — we count the people actually being rostered.

Who counts as a staff member?
Anyone on the roster with an active profile. Managers, schedulers and the owner don't count unless they work shifts themselves.
What happens when we hire our 11th person?
The free plan holds 10. From your 11th rostered person, the paid plan covers your whole team — everyone, including the first 10 — for $60 a month, up to 30 staff.
What about our 31st?
$3 a month each, added automatically to the same bill. A 35-person team pays $75 a month.
Someone left. Do we still pay for them?
Deactivate them in settings and they stop counting straight away. Your settings page always shows exactly how many people you're paying for.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. Every feature, no time limit, no card details. It's the full product for small teams, not a teaser.
Can we cancel?
Anytime, from the app. Your data stays exportable.
Does it handle our payroll?
