Every service covered,
crossings to libraries. Sorted.

Roster libraries, customer service, school crossings, local laws and depot crews on one roster, with tickets on file and shifts on everyone's phone.

A council road crew of eight in hi-vis around a pothole, one raking fresh asphalt into it while the others look on

Short shifts, twice a day

School crossing supervisors on a morning and an afternoon shift every school day, on the same roster as everyone else.

Tickets before the shift

Track Working with Children Checks, traffic control tickets, heavy vehicle licences and chemical accreditation, and see when each one is due to run out.

Every service at once

The library, customer service centre, local laws and the depot, each its own area, so you see every service at once.

For your council

Built around early starts and late libraries.

Pick "Council (local government)" in the welcome wizard and your team is set up in minutes: no implementation call, no sales demo.

  • Your team, ready to go Library officers and assistants, customer service officers, school crossing supervisors, local laws and parking officers, rangers, parks and gardens workers, plant operators, team leaders and service coordinators, plus a typical week to start from: crossings morning and afternoon, a library open late Monday to Thursday and on Saturday, and a 7am depot crew.
  • Crossings, twice a school day A morning and an afternoon crossing are two short shifts on the same day, on the roster, on their phone and on the timesheet.
  • Suggested rules for councils A 30-minute meal break on shifts longer than 5 hours, 10 hours off between shifts, no shift longer than 10½ hours and none shorter than 1. Tick them in the welcome wizard if you want them; you can change the numbers.
  • Tickets on file Track Working with Children Checks, Police Checks, traffic control tickets, heavy vehicle and driver licences and chemical accreditation, and see when each one is due to run out.
  • Outdoor crews clock in where they work Set a clock-in area around the depot or a site, or put a shared tablet on the wall in kiosk mode.
  • Someone calls in sick? Post it as an open shift, free staff ask for it from their phone, and you pick who takes it.
  • More than one building? Each library, centre or depot can be its own location, with its own manager who rosters and approves their own team.
  • Leave without the paperwork Staff request leave from their phone and see their balances, and approved leave shows on the roster before you schedule over it.
For your team

The app your crews will actually open.

Shifts land in their pocket the moment you publish, and in their phone calendar too. No more spreadsheet rosters by email.

Questions

Questions councils ask.

Do short school crossing shifts work?

Yes. A 75-minute crossing shift is a shift like any other: on the roster, on their phone and on the timesheet. A morning and an afternoon crossing are two shifts on the same day.

Can I keep track of tickets and checks?

Yes. Record each Working with Children Check, Police Check, traffic control ticket and licence and when it runs out, and TEAM MATE warns you before you roster someone who doesn't have what their job needs.

Can outdoor crews clock in at the depot?

Yes. Set a clock-in area around the depot so you can see who clocked in away from it, or put a shared tablet on the wall in kiosk mode.

Can staff swap shifts?

Yes. A swap comes to you to approve, and the roster updates when you do.

TEAM MATE started in Melbourne cafés and restaurants. The same app runs all of these crews too, each with its own setup in the welcome wizard.
