Desk, floor and studio

Reception, the gym floor and classes on one roster, from the 5:30am open to the late close.

Tickets on file

Track First Aid, CPR, Certificate III and IV in Fitness and fitness registrations, and see when each one is due to run out.

One-hour classes, no fuss

A 6am class is a shift like any other: on the roster, on their phone and on the timesheet.

For your gym

Built around an early-start week.

Pick "Gym or fitness centre" in the welcome wizard and your team is set up in minutes: no implementation call, no sales demo.

  • Your team, ready to go Receptionists, fitness instructors, personal trainers, group fitness instructors and a duty manager, plus a typical week to start from: reception and the gym floor staffed 5:30am to 9:30pm on weekdays and 7am to 3pm at weekends, trainers around the before- and after-work rush, and one-hour classes at 6am and 6pm.
  • Tickets and qualifications Track who holds what and when it runs out: First Aid, CPR, Certificate III and IV in Fitness, fitness registrations, and Working with Children Checks for kids’ classes. Keep the card number and state on file. You get a warning before you roster someone without one.
  • A first-aider on while you’re staffed Tick the suggested rules and TEAM MATE warns you when nobody with First Aid is rostered on while the gym is staffed. You choose the hours and the numbers.
  • Suggested rules for gyms A meal break on shifts longer than 5 hours, 10 hours off between shifts and no shift longer than 10½ hours. No shortest shift, so one-hour classes don’t set off warnings. Common starting points: you check them, switch them on, and change any number.
  • Classes and PT sessions Early classes, evening classes and personal training blocks are shifts like any other, each in its own area of the roster: reception, the gym floor or the studio.
  • Clock in at the gym Each location gets its own location check, plus an optional photo on each clock-in, so hours match who was actually there.
  • Someone calls in sick? Post it as an open shift, free instructors ask for it from their phone, and you pick who takes it.
  • Leave without the paperwork Staff request leave from their phone and see their balances, and approved leave shows on the roster before you schedule over it.
For your team

The app your trainers will actually open.

Shifts land in their pocket the moment you publish, and in their phone calendar too. No more ringing round at 5am to cover the opening shift.

Questions

Questions gyms ask.

Can I keep track of First Aid, CPR and fitness qualifications?

Yes. Record each First Aid and CPR certificate, Certificate III or IV in Fitness, fitness registration and Working with Children Check, and when each one runs out, and TEAM MATE warns you before you roster someone who doesn't have what their job needs.

Can it tell me when nobody with First Aid is on?

Yes. Tick the suggested rules and the roster lists any time the gym is staffed with nobody holding First Aid. You choose the numbers and the hours.

Do one-hour classes work?

Yes. A class is a shift like any other, however short. The suggested rules for gyms don't set a shortest shift, so a 6am class doesn't set off a warning.

How do instructors and trainers see their shifts?

On their phone. Shifts land the moment you publish, with the area and the times, and they clock in and out from the same app.

Built for every crew.

TEAM MATE started in Melbourne cafés and restaurants. The same app runs all of these crews too, each with its own setup in the welcome wizard.
